Aqua Relaxation Classes For All
Time & time again, women say to me they wish they were pregnant so they could enjoy an aqua relaxation session.
Well guess what? You don’t have to be. Come along alone for some ‘me time’, or bring a friend or the whole group chat! Aqua Relaxation in our warm, tranquil hydrotherapy pool is the best way to soak away the stresses of every day life – whatever form they come in!
You matter too…
If you have answered yes to any of these then an Aqua Relaxation session could be just the tonic.
Being a mum (whatever age your little darlings are) can be hard bloody work.
It’s very easy when you are sorting out everyone else’s needs to forget your own.
This is your invitation to reset, take a bit of time for yourself and enjoy a lovely relaxation meditation in the warm hydrotherapy waters at the venue in Exeter.
We begin the session with a little ‘check in’ for you to meet and hear from each other and also share anything you feel you need to so I can tailor the class to meet your needs.
You will then get to lie back in the water, supported by the noodles, soft LED lighting dimmed – enjoying the ability to float in a comfortable position whilst I read a beautiful meditation script that enables you to indulge in this little bit of you time.
You’ll ease your aches, pains & tensions & probably sleep better afterwards too as your stress levels reduce and you’ll be encouraged to ‘release’ what you need to.
Once postnatal, always postnatal.
Whether you have a 6 month or 6 years old child, you still deserve to have a bit of time carved out just for you. There’s no upper limit to how long you’ve been a mother, but for those with new babies, read on:
I’m a new Mum. When can I start?
At the very earliest after you have had your (6-8 week) postnatal check and must wait until all vaginal bleeding (lochia) has stopped completely.
Any stitches or incisions will need to be healed properly and generally you feel well and ready to be up and about.
This class is for you to come without your baby so you will need to be in a position to leave your baby with a trusted family member or friend.
You also need to feel ready that you are happy and able to leave baby’s feeds, bath bedtime etc to someone else for a short while whilst you attend the session.
I’m not a new Mum. Can I still come along?
Yes! This is time for you to switch off and escape the usual demands of life for a short while. If you are feeling ready to do so, I will welcome you with open arms.
